As mentioned elsewhere in the forums, the latest Liteon/Jlms firmware upgrades are based on a new flasher, namely XFLASH. One “side effect” is that Flashfix doesn’t work for them:

For the benefit of Liteon/Jlms OEM and rebadged drives owners, and not in the least, for the benefit of overclockers as well, I’ve posted a special XFlashfix version to deal with the brand new firmware upgrade utilities. It was of course written by Dale.

It works with e.g: 6S0F(LTR52246s) VS0D (LTR48125w); WS0B(LTR40125w); DS18 (dvd166s).

Feel free to it of course, guess you know where to find it :wink:

I don’t know yet, best is to just give it a try.
As with all Flashfix versions: If it can’t fix, it will tell you so.

Yes for the cdrw firmware
No for the dvd firmware

(Tested with Litefirm and Litefirm2)
