Hi, I have a modded xbox 360 and I want to burn games.

So I have a working iso and dvd file.

I load the dvd file I have the layer break to whatever it is supposed to be and about half way through I get an error message that says cyclic re(something) check

CRC

I tried two working files… wasted 3 DL DVDS!!!

Someone please help…

Maybe you could try ripping the game back onto your computer and then try it again?

#3
found your problem, you downloaded it, we don’t help with illegal downloads here! sorry!
yeah I said that I downloaded it. I have the actual game!!!

I just don’t want to buy that special burner to do the dump thing:

 1. Too expensive
 2. My computer sucks and it will take forever

I just want to download the game so I have a backup, so the original doesn’t wear out or break. It’s $65 bucks, I don’t want to wast that. So I am not doing this illegally.

Can you please help.

I just want to know how to stop that CRC thing. Cause on the wii ones that only happens every once in a while. But it happened all three times on the xbox one.

Please help I am doing it legally.

You’ve got errors on your hard drive, notice the log says it was unable to read the file due to a CRC error being reported.

Run chkdsk and have it check for bad sectors. You should think about replacing it really as bad sectors on a hdd are never a good sign.

#11

If that doesn’t work, there could be something wrong with the files you downloaded, where the files were corrupted and the download manager didn’t manage to fix the issues. For that, there’s no fix for that other than to try your luck at buying the required equipment to back up your own game discs.

replace what my computer or my dvd burner??? And does any one know why it only burns at 0.3x or 0.6x???

#13

your hard disk - as that’s what has the problem here.

Hopefully chkdsk will sort it though. If not, try a hdd recovery tool like spinrite or hdd regen.

You should also run the diagnostics tool offered by the manufacturer of the drive - you’ll need to do that if you have to RMA it anyway.

Sorry, that is not correct.
Even if you own that game, you have obtained a cracked version illegally, so this copy is illegal. :cop:

#15

@ chef … it aint really cracked at all as im fairly sure it dont change any data on the discs unlike real cracks which do.

but regardless if that’s legal or not… he might be able to use his xbox360 itself to make a backup of the game he has since he said he has the original.

only works if you got a Samsung (i think BenQ works to) in your XBox360 but even if he does he will have to flash it to 0800xtrm.bin firmware file so that the PC can see it in windows and use software (i.e. XBC (Xbox Backup Creator)) to copy original game data to his PC’s hard drive etc etc , but if he does that he better be careful NOT to lose the original firmware file since it contains his drive key and if he loses that and flashes the 0800xtrm.bin file to his Samsung drive… his xbox360 is permanently junk.

also, my guess based on how ‘bad’ his PC supposedly is… he probably dont even have SATA in his PC at all so what i said above probably aint a option for him in his PC’s current state… and he probably had someone else mod the system for him.

if he has a Hitachi in his XBox360, he’s out of luck since it cant make proper iXtreme firmware compatible backups.

You can’t ‘download’ (read?) an xbox game with ImgBurn, they’re protected against casual copying.

Dude all you have to do is upgrade the firmware on your dvd drive. Look for it on the manufacturers website under support or downloads.

Simply wrong.
