I just tried Handbrake because I want to keep 2 audio channels in my MKV files...
My concern is that the encoding quality of Handrake is far better than DVDFab one's for the same settings.
mkv/x264/mp3 128kbps -> deinterlacing - 1000kbps - 2 pass - 704/xxx
Handbrake -> image is perfect - file size: ~185MB
DVDFab -> too many compression artifacts to watch the movie - file size: ~ 214MB
Both are installed on the same machine... Same results if I use XVID/MP3.
Is there a way to improve DVDFab encoding quality?
