For those who give a rip
Several posts indicated a correlation between GEARAspiWDM loaded in the register (upperfilter) and itunes, but I followed the instructions to remove it, and my cd drive was disabled. So, unless you know for sure what this loaded with? Don’t remove it, it’s probably needed.
But if you have iTunes and/or iPod, when you install the firmware and software, you’ll notice on startup, itunehelper.exe and/or ipodservice.exe are running in background. If your control-alt-delete for your task manager, click the “process” tab, highlight and “end process” for each jobs, you might find CloneDVD2 suddenly is able to finish a burning with no errors…go figure.
