Hi there,

Yep, timmmyboi is right, Memorex are one of the worste media out there.
It’s made by CMC (CMC Magnetics Corporation).

The best media on the market is Taiyo Yuden.
Verbatim Datalife are also pretty good.
FujiFilm (Made In Japan) one.

Always read what it says on the Media box.

Try burning at 2x.
Then run it into VSO Inspector v1.1
I should come out 100% on Sector Scan and File test if burned at 2x.

Yes, even 4x is pushing it sometimes with cheap media.

I currently to not own Taiyo Yuden cause I still have lots of left overs to burn 1st, so I burn everthing at 2x and I get 100% results.

Yes it takes a little longer but hey, it works !

Good luck !

also by ritek/prodisc,anyway its aboius the burner does not support ProdiscF01 media code “7/21/2005 4:54:58 PM info Unknown medium type” yeah copytodvd identifies the media probably cuz it have its own database of em ive seen several copytodvd logs and that line does not show up when a supported media is used
