well ive never had bad luck burining dvds with my various dvd burining hardware (nec 2500A, liteon 812s, and my external pioneer 106D) but man removing the Nforce ide drivers made my burns so much better! the extrernal dvd wasnt affected it always burns well.
I had the latest beta too..went back to stock MS drivers..not only did i see better burns but faster encoding from my harddrives 24k per sec.!
would reccomend for anyone whos having issues and is using nforce IDE drivers.
example of a burn on the cheapest media i own CMC crapollas!
its better than standards..not great but plays well on dvd players.
Before with nforce drivers id get around constant 500 to 1500 PI errors and 200 to 500 PO errors on same disks and drive. and usually have unrecoverable errors on them when running kprobe.
