What’s next, Kill somebody and you get free after two years, import illegal soft and you will be imprisoned for life … are the judges in the US working on a commission or what ? Justice out of proportion …:frowning:

People that have Child Porn on their computer get a shorter sentence than this. Once again proves that money is more important than life itself. :8 Jesus was correct when he went through the marketplace and tore it up banning the sales of goods on holy grounds. I’m not a bible thumper or anything but that is the only thing I like about the bible.

This is about cracking down on people who copy and sell, so all is ok. The only thing not ok is that she got 9 years in prison. That is outrageously too much time. She should only have to go to prison for a week and pay the same fine she did pay.

I completely agree with TBZ. I take it back that I said the 11 million dollar fine was appropriate. She should of had to pay a fine, but not that much. The prison time though is horribly too much time. Also like what LRR said, who knows what could be next, so the legal system in the USA better watch their fucken behavior.

Man, this guy I use to know, killed his own child and spent one year in jail and is already out. Another guy I went to school with who was known for molesting over 10 children and got convicted of more then one spent six months in jail. When is somebody gonna do something about this crap.

The average amount of time a person convicted of murder in the United States spends in jail is 8 years before they are paroled. Eight years, with little or no attempt at rehabilitation. Other violent crimes are punished less severely. Apparently its a far worse crime to rob a corporation than it is to beat and murder your wife.

Well, America is a society that allows you to cheat on your wife but if you stay parked in the same spot too long you get a ticket.
