With watching divx movies using dvd player

I have Funai dvd player and it supports divx files…

So I have question how can I play my divx movies on that player, what do I have to do?

When I just burn them as data dvd using ashampoo burning studio my player won’t play them, it just gives me some error, I tried with several discs so its not problem with discs…

Thanks in advance…

You first have to activate the DivX components that is within the standalone DVD player  you will need to use the “Device Manager” that is found under “Tools” found on the titlebar of the DivX player, what you will need to do is write down a DivX activation code that is found in the manual that came with the dvd player that supports DivX playback then open the device manager as stated above enter the info required and a activation disc will be burned for you to play in the dvd player
I use DivX Pro which comes with the DivX Converter which can convert the movies to HD(1080p) I also use the DivX Author :iagree: very sweet little app

We cannot help with downloaded videos from the “scene” that are ripped and converted from commercial dvds. Those are copyright protected.

If you were making your own divx or xvid videos from dvds that you own, that would be another matter. That is simply changing formats for material that you have purchased.

Please review the rules of the forum regarding copyright protected material.
