WinXP won't detect a new CD

vbimport

#1

Drives are working fine, but when I put a new CD-ROM in the drive, it won't detect it (It will ask to insert a cd if I try to explore it).

I can see the volume(s) if I goto drive properties in the Device Manager.

The disk is present if I reboot the machine with the disk in the cdrom.

Little Help?

Well, are your master/slave settings set right?
Newest ASPI drivers installed?
