How can I use a digital picture as background for my desktop? I looked in display settings but no choice to use pic. Thanks for your help.
Right click on the desktop and select "Properties"
Then select the "Desktop tab" and press the "browse" button (see pic as example)
Finally, browse your hard disc to search the picture you want
It looks like Control Panel, Display, Desktop and then Browse. (for your pic)
Wow, someone beat me to it
Thanks for the help.
You're welcome
If XP Pro works the same as in XP Home, an easier way is to right-click on your photo and click on "set as desktop background"
My XP pro won't do that, but if you open it with paint, you can "set as background". (in the File menu).
Really? My XP Pro lets me "set as background" with the right clicking thing, yours must suck, lol.
Okay I see that works if you are using Windows Explorer with the thumbnails view. I always set the view to details.
I see you can also right click on a picture if viewing it with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.
