CAN´T PLAY DVDS ON WINDOWS MEDIA FOR WINDOWS 7
Hi and welcome to the forum
I suggest to use a better player, like VLC.
Get it here. It is free, and is also available as a portable software (i.e. no installation is needed).
I’d say that MPC-HC, ffdshow and Haali’s splitter gets you a long way ahead of VLC but it’s not really portable. If you want portability go with SMplayer (mplayer with UI) instead of VLC on Win32.

Really I can play dvd on win7. What version of 7 do you have and how up to date is your Win7? Win7 ult WMP12 can play dvd on my computer.
Maybe there is a region issue??
What kind of DVDs, which drive?
