Windows I386 problem

When I bought my computer it didn’t come with Re-installation CDs for XP, just a C:\I386 folder. Now I’m trying to create a installation disk from it I’ve found that without slipstreaming the folder is 824MB, more than a CD and my final image size is 832MB.

Would I be able to use someone else’s CDs with the registration key that came with my computer?

Or does anyone have/know the location of a working image to create one from?

You could try that but every new computer should come with a re-installation Cd at least, unless it were bought without windows…
