[QUOTE=MaPHacK;2073540]Ok, so whenever I open the file on my desktop that has all my tv shows and movies in it I get that message. The Send Error Report or Don’t Send kind. Then the file is closed by this problem. Then I try and open it again and the same message pop ups.
So I sent the Error Report and then clicked the More Information link and it took me to a webpage explaining the cause of the problem. It said that “This problem was caused by XviD” and I am assuming that is so because I just installed the ConvertXtoDVD software on my computer so I could burn avi files onto DVD.
And if I choose to ignore the message and continue leaving the file open i get this message “DrWatson’s Postmortum DeBugger has encountered a problem and needs to close” and I don’t even know what that is.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
First off the source program itself is most likely corrupted and explorer is unable to read or view it correctly and causes it to crash trying to read the file itself. Also what is the file itself? What O/S are you using? I never do those send error to M$ it doesn’t help cause the main cause is a corrupted file your trying to convert.
