MS should listen to its constituents as opposed to doing whatever they feel like. I wish we could put this type of pressure on all corporations.

Two items worth nothing for history books one might have truth to it…

According to WZOR Microsoft is in “panic mood” about the fate of Windows 9.

The group states that Windows 9 Enterprise might have the ability to disable the next generation of the Metro interface (Metro 2.0)
The second one I have my doubts they never listened and now they still haven’t listened. That panic already started with W8…

Every test build is individually assembled with the goal of making it easier to find out who is leaking builds. Likely each individual build contains code so the company can trace leaked builds back to the original leaker.
Yeah like this will ever happened it be to late by the time they figure it out. Tech savvy users will find a way. If you can secure it someone can break it that’s how the games is played.

Oh, yeah my bu%% it is free…

I am only going to say this once, “nothing in life is free” If you actually believe that this is 100% free, then I have a bridge to sell you.:flower:

@alan1476:

I guess someone forgot to mention that to the devs of all the free (gratis) GNU/Linux distros out there.

PS: I don’t know if MS will charge anything for Windows 9, but they are desparate to restore faith in the Windows product line. Perhaps their new CEO actually DOES have new ideas. Of course, Windows will never be free-as-in-freedom, so it will still contain malware-like features.

Or better yet it will be a O/S cloud based where if you don’t have internet and give them admin privileges you can factor yourself out of the loop.
