The Redmond company revealed on Tuesday that Windows 7-born ambient light sensors are making a return in the next-gen OS, along with improved motion sensor support for viewing, apps and games.

So … Windows 8 will have an ambient light sensor & auto-brightness … Just like android & iOS.

Windows 8 will also have capability to use 3 axis gyro’s … One axis more than most Android/iOS phones/tablets …

It’s a miracle breakthrough !!!

Considering the lousy white font on light blue background in Win7 default theme, this is close to unbelievable. But this way, they encourage manufacturers to stick with lousy hi-gloss screens.
