Yeah!! your right I'm not complaining even though I did voice my dislikes and concerns/thoughts after testing it, I personally don't have a problem when it comes to a change in operating systems which I've been known to upgrade as soon as they become available, although it did take me a while to switch from XP to Vista but I think that was in part due to the fact that XP was such a great operating system and so easy to use and even though I myself never had a lick of problems with Vista I also upgraded to Windows 7 when it too became available.
But as for Windows 8 I really see no need or reason for me to upgrade this time not when Windows 7 is a great operating system just like XP was and still is, but heck who knows maybe I will upgrade later on but thats highly unlikely though even with a work-around, and even though Microsoft has reduced the price for the upgrade tremendously which by the way is a real shocker for them, the bandwagon for Windows 8 I'll not jump on based on the reduction in price or the new hardware that they recently developed for Windows 8.
Don't get me wrong now!! I do think Windows 8 is a good operating system but I don't think Microsoft even had the PC consumers in mind when they switched the interface in mid-stream of development just because they want to compete against Apple and Google in the tablet and the other mobile device market and they feel its necessary force the 'Metro' interface to all consumers and not just for the mobile device users.
As for for Windows 8 being more secure...hmmm...your system is only as secure as you make it no matter what operating system you use.
Tis just my opinion and .02¢
