I ran W7-Ultimate (x86) on my last desktop and on my notebook, but only because I had an “Educational” installer for them.
When I switched to my current (C2Q) desktop I needed an X64 OS
and using Vista Home Premium-64 excited me about as much as
a colonoscopy appointment, and at that point I already knew that M$ support for “7Home” and “7Ultimate” was going to be far less than for

to be honest a week ago I wouldn’t have known what that meant.
But I finally installed DVDfab last thursday and now I do know.
Not sure how much the lack of it would slow down things but as ripping DVD’s is already like watching astroturf grow I’m pretty sure I don’t want to know.
Ripping Blu-ray? I have no idea, I don’t have any, nor do I have a blue-ray drive.
