Windows 7

I am using windows 7 and trying to select it to wmv9. I’m trying to compress a blu-ray movie using ffdshow. I keep getting the following errors:
Win 7 preferred avc codec not set correctly.
Win 7 preferred vc-1 codec not set correctly.
Win 7 preferred mpeg2 not set correctly.
ffdshow vc-1 set incorrectly [0].
ffdshow mpeg2 set incorrectly [0].
ffdshow avc set to libavcodec: O.K.
x264: O.K.
Aften: O.K.
mp4Box: O.K.
Tsmuxer: O.K.
Failed video encode: Aborted.
I’ve tried to correct these before I sent this e-mail, but, got nowhere. I don’t even know where to start. Thank you for any reply reply.

What software you using to compress the movie? Also what version of 7 do you have?
I am using windows 7 and trying to select it to wmv9. I’m trying to compress a blu-ray movie using ffdshow.
I don’t belive ffdshow will compress a movie, you will need a movie copying software

I am using BD-Rebuilder to compress the movie. All I know is that I have windows 7. Not sure of the version. How can I find that out. Thank you for your reply.

Don’t know about win 7 but you might try checking like XP right click on my computer and then properties and it might show you which version you have

As my good friend Jimbo stated Same as XP will work ( right click on my computer and then properties )

Need to know if it is Home,Pro, or Ultimate

I have the home premiun version of Win 7.
