Microsoft’s strategy seems to be all over the place with Windows 10, they’re virtually throwing the free upgrade at you on the desktop, but for new lower cost devices they’re doing away with the Bing edition which will likely make several of those devices a bit more expensive.Â

Then there’s the ridiculous cost if you want to actually buy a new copy of Windows 10. Microsoft appears to be putting all their eggs in the free upgrade basket and charging a pretty penny if you want it by any other means. What happens to Windows 10 after the free upgrade period finishes will be of great interest.
