Microsoft’s privacy policy for Windows 10 Technical Preview learns us that Microsoft collects information about your device, voice input, information on files and text you enter when you participate in the pre-release program of the next version of Windows.

Well yeah, it’s kinda obvious that a Tech Preview does this. They need input from the users.

Is it just the tech preview (expected) that exhibits this behavior, or the rtm/final?

Feedback on a tech preview/alpha/beta/release candidate would be part of the conditions … If you aren’t reporting feedback, why would you be a part of the preview/debug crew?

For now it’s just the tech preview. But even a tech preview shouldn’t have an embedded keylogger and filesnooper in it
