The yesterday released update to Windows 10 Preview contains D3D12.dll and a new notification center. In the update Microsoft has also added a battery saver feature, and data sense, a feature to monitor data usage over Wifi and mobile networks.

Those updates look quite good.

But I was a bit surprised that windows Tech preview downloaded 4GB of data without asking for permission first, then asked do you wish to restart. again without stating what it was going to do. then spent 40 minutes completely reinstalling the new build after I said yes to a unknown restart request.
Having said that I must say that the new build has some real operational improvements including better control of graphic functions.
