Window cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using

Hi

I format my computer and now my NEC 3520a doesn’t recognize burned CD/DVD.
I get this comment:
“window cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using”

Original DVD/CD doesn’t have read problem and I could also burned DVD and see them on my DVD, but not through computer.

Can you help me? any idea how to fix it

Install the drive properly using devicemanager, then install a burn software like Nero, not alcohol.

“format my computer” what does that mean?

Thanks of your help, but I tried but it didn’t help. I removed driver installation and reinstall with windows and also with updated one from NEC web site

P.S: When writing Format I meant clear my hard disk and install XP on a clear one (not reinstall or update)

Any other idea?

Thanks

Uninstall the ide channels and the drive entry properly by using Devicemanager, then restart.

Also you could uninstall/delete the upper and lower filter, please see my sig.
