WINDATA disks are the worst disks I’ve ever used. After failures to burn and then failures to play on my DVD player, I told myself, never buy any media that’s GOLD.
Online you can find Maxell, Memorex and Philips DVD+R DLs for good prices (Amazon has them.) But stay away from this stuff. It’s junk. My player, I thought, could play anything. But when I popped in a copy of a movie I had copied (no copy protection) it got to the same place three times and just froze. The fourth time the player wouldn’t even read it! Popped in a Memorex and it worked fine.
Again, stay away from GOLD media. Shoot, I should have learned that back in my CD copying days. If the disk is SILVER, go ahead any try it, but WINDATA is garbage.
