how can i have a backup of windows patches and security updates?

If you use Windows Update service on the menu bar on the left hand side under “Personalize Windows Update” you can turn on Windows Update Catalog . From this option you can download all of the updates for the O/S you are using to your computer. They will download to a single directory but iwon’t install untill you click on them.
