Win 98 in reverse

vbimport

Hi all,

I have bought a second hand computer for "mucking about on" and it has win98SE on it. This is better than my own computer! It has all the cab files and appears to have a set up file on it too. If I burn these to a cd using my Roxio easy CD programme together with a start up disk, will this be enough to give me a working copy of win 98se for my own computer?

It seems like you could, just make sure that you copy all the CAB’s, setup.exe and scandisk.exe and it should work.

P.S. when I got my new system, all the files were in their own seperate directory so I just burned the whole directory onto a cd and it worked fine.

Good luck.
