I have been using this iRiver profile for my sons X20 to do hundreds of conversions. I have it under C:\Program Files\DVDFab 5\Profiles with the filename iRiverX20.avi.mpeg4.mp3.iRiverX20.xml.
I always use it after ripping the entire DVD to disk; then cropping 4:3s by 20 on all sides; and, 16:9s by 20|110|110|20 then selecting from the Resolution List 320 x 240. I just checked Time Warp with 18.104.22.168; works fine.[/quote]
So you really do 16:9s with this? 320x240 is the only output that functions on iRiver, though they claim otherwise. So setting that of course changes the aspect ratio and stretches the output. Doing the cropping first does just that, chops off parts of the frame. So I’m not sure how you are ending up with 320x240 output AND not cropping part of the picture or stretching the output. There does not seem to be such an option to just fill in to 320x240.
