Wierd Video File Problem

I am trying to burn a home movie to DVD-R using Nero 9. I have the files (3) of them that I made into AVI format but although they play fine on the hard drive, when I burn them to disk Crystal Player Professional (my video player) tells me it cannot find the video stream. Windows Media Player also reports that it cannot play the file. What am I doing wrong? Everything was fine when I tried to burn some video clips from my stop-motion class. I am using Vista 64-bit Home Premium. Please help!

Thank you in advance,
Kallie

Try VLC Media Player. You did convert these to Dvd Compliant files before you burned them, didn’t you? Because it sounds like your player does not support AVI format.
