Wicked wierd problems

:sad:since about 3-4 downloads ago, i am progressively unable to back up my dvd's. i have had the program for a few months, and had no problems. now though, it a:fails to write b:writes, but my dvd players won't recognize c:writes, but leaves out part of the third or fourth chapter(quite visible when flipped over). the puzzling thing is that it's quite random and occasionally, one copys successfully. i have checked the forum and haven't seen this specific issue. i've also tried using my NERO and IMAGEBURN engines to write, but DVDFab fails to write at beginning of process.

oh yeah...i have downloaded the newest(7-30-08), and the problem is worse(visible gap on dvd-r is HUGE!).:doh::doh:

Might help if you posted a burn log so we could see whats going on

What brand of blank media are you using? What speed are you burning at. What are your settings in common settinngs read and write modes

With such little information to go by, it sounds like your drive is on it’s way out.

please post both VSO, ImgBurn and Nero logs if you can.
