I am using DivxToDVD right now. Im trying to convert about 2 1/2 hours of video right now and it says that its estimated to take 28 hours to finish. Does it usually take this long or is there somthing wrong?

Ok it went up to 31 hours now.

What kind of format is it? DivX?

If you are using the new shareware version, it will not convert at max speed according to the VSO webpage. Wish they had made it uncrippled so I can test it better.

There .avi formats

Hi there,

The current v2.00 Release Candidate (v1.99.11) will never expire, but will insert a WaterMark on your video output.

Sometimes soon, they will release an other build that will let you run it in DEMO in full mode for 1 week. It should be much faster, since there will be no watermark (for 1 week).

I have a Pentium 4 @ 3.2 Ghz and I do about 53 fps (x1.70) if I recall.
What is your CPU and Memory specs ?

CPU speed may also be a factor !

My 2 cents…

I have a AMD Athlon 3200+ and 1GB Corsair xms memory so I dont really think thats the problem

i believe the problem is " - Fast mpeg2 encoder ( max speed in registered version only ) "
look under key features http://www.vso-software.fr/divxtodvd/divxtodvd2.htm
