Oooh fancy packaging, but I wonder for what other gimmicks the marketing department went.

Fancy Packaging…

hmmmmm guitar and amp maker have their own brand DVD’s now? This is just a link showing the Gibson logo > http://www.gibson.com/

Might have to go to a music store to find them.

Great for the guitar lovers …first thing I thought of before clicking this thread was Gibson guitars. Really love the tin packaging.

Be interesting to see who makes these, as negritude originally asked.

#9

Just a guess - Ritek or CMC.

The fancy tins are what makes them cost so much i’m guessing. oh and the name! lol

Now i wonder if Æ’ender will have their own also lol

#11

The DVD+R DL packaging says “Made in Taiwan”

LOL, I thought it was (that’s what I put originally), but I thought I’d misread it and edited

Yeah, hopefully someone will grab some…no music stores near me (guitar store in the centre of town though).

off topic:
Not to give them a plug but they have some other medias at musiciansfriend > http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/media-storage-memory

Womi is right about the MIT.

MIT…I’d agree with pepst then

LOL Bob, glad I wasn’t the only one (although I’ve been up a bit longer for a change!)

Cool tin, decent disc graphic.

I wouldn’t mind getting some, if…

 1. I could actually find some locally
 2. It weren’t for the price premium
 3. I could actually use the tin afterwards

The tin would only add more clutter (for me at least) but certainly props due to the marketing team.

The feeling of opening a tin of media = opening a tin of premium candy. shivers Oh how orgasmic. :stuck_out_tongue:

When Gibson acquired the Baldwin Piano Co. a few years back, they rather quickly proved to have the “Midas touch” in reverse. What had been a quality product, especially the larger grand pianos, turned into crap.

AFAIK, their guitars still tend to be pretty good, but I wouldn’t touch anything else with their name on it. :disagree:

My guess is CMC. Unless the photoshopped the hubs drastically.
