Who knows some programs to make photo slideshow?

I want to make photo slideshow with background music and burn it on DVD. Who can tell me some programs to do this?
Thank you so much

Ulead has DVD Picture Show, Apple has iPhoto, I think there is a free Microsoft program that does that too.

I’ve used both the Ulead product and iPhoto, and liked both very much. But I liked the iPhoto one better because of the “Ken Burns” transition effect.

BTW, here is the link to the Microsoft one - I’m not sure if it burns DVD’s directly or not though - never tried the app and the site talks about needing some kind of $20 plug-in or something. Anyway, here it is as an alternative.

wohlward,

I’ve made it with Photodex Proshow Gold. It’s simple the best for me. IT allows you to do widescreen slideshows and also 4:3 (normal) slideshows.

But Ulead Picture Show is the easiest to use, but don’t allow widescreen slideshows.

Thank all of you very much. I tried Proshow,Ulead PictureShow and also Wedding Album Maker. I found Proshow is a little difficult for me, Ulead trial limitation is only 30 days, Wedding Album Maker is better. I chose the Wedding Album Maker Gold, the theme and menus in the program are so beatiful, i love it!
Anyhow, thank you all the same!!

adobe elements is to complicated if you are new,if you want something easy
microsoft movie maker,is the one

ProShow Gold—The Best there is.

Nero 7
Roxio 7.5 probably 8 as well

proshow gold/producer is the best, takes time to learn but once you get the hang of it you will feel like a pro! I did…

Have you tried Irfanview?

Its slideshow creation software is incredibly easy to use and it is fast.

Irfanview is the best free graphics software in the known universe. Give it a try. After all it is free.

It can create a stand-alone executable so the user does not have to have Irfanview installed.
