Who is going to win the Cricket WorlD CUP?

Pakistan of course. With Pakistan, form is nothing to go by - the persistent corruption which seems to be intrinsic for the Pakistani cricket teams means you never see the Pakistan until they play in a tournament they do really want to win - ie the

World CUP  :stuck_out_tongue:

Wish Holland,Bangladesh,Kenya,…everyone…playing…good luck!

Remember it’s the game that counts… not just winning

Wish all the regulars well too

The thing is, Pakistan (like India  ) are pretty unpredictable. Anything can happen on the day!
I say Australia,Pakistan,India and RSA in the semis, and then anything can happen!

after watching aussie team all summer i don’t think there in the best state few key bowlers had a few injuries an stuff, but that said i still think they have very good chance to do it again.

Cricket? I believe they are very nice covered in chocolate…or is that ants.

Just wait as the shit hit the fan over New Zealand refusing to play in Kenya. The Poms will (and should) stay away from that madman Mugabe, and Australia will choke (when it suits them).

In the end, who bloody cares.

Australia will win the world cup easy!

INDIA of course!!

Why??

Nostradamus…

The prince shall have one foot tied. Fearsome to his enemies, he shall
make his sail rebound
Having joined battle with people of Africa Moon shining, the little
great one led off.
The stone in the tree, the proud nation restored

Interpretation :

The prince (prince of Calcutta -> Sourav ) will be out of form before
the World Cup but he will come back. He will play amongst the people
from the African continent and the little one (Sachin) will lead India
to victory under shining Moon(Day Night match where India will chase to
win). And then a proud India will rejoice in winning the world
(
stone in the tree).

“Jeeto India Jeeto!!”

Aussies will win of course

Now its almost half way down there…who would you put your money on?

New Zealand and England look good too…James Anderson

Well…as for India:

Sachin

I really liked that interpretation.

Did anyone see how Sachin (in fact India) thrashed Pakistan?

Shoaib Akhtar was a victim of Sachin.

If Sachin wasn’t hurt India would have PAKed them up more early & in more style.

If India keep going the same way, NO ONE can stop them.

U bet!! 2 billion people saw this feat. Pakistan kicked to kingdom cum. Almost out of the world cup now.

Now the two favorites are the Indians and the Aussies.

In the Group - B hats off to Kenya who were the ‘minnow’ team who made it to the Super Six. Way to go!!

Jeeto India Jeeto!!

By the way, nice nick darshan

By the way, nice nick darshan

Thanks.

This is what Shoaib’s Diary read:

Ya Khuda! (Hey God!) what a match that was against India. Taught me so much. Never in my life should i forget following things that i learnt from todays match (if i were to keep my reputation intact in future)…

 1. Never bowl short length delivery to Sachin Tendulkar… he can cut and pull and hook very well…

 2. Never bowl full length delivery to Sachin Tendulkar… he can drive like no one else in world…

 3. Never bowl good length delivery to Sachin Tendulkar… he can play on the rise so comfortably…

 4. Never bowl outside offstump to Sachin Tendulkar… he is extremely strong on offside…

 5. Never bowl on pads of Sachin Tendulkar… he can flick and glance like no one can…

 6. Never bowl a straight line to Sachin Tendulkar… he can hit that anywhere in the ground…

 7. Never bowl very fast to Sachin Tendulkar… he uses my pace against me…

 8. Never bowl a slow one to Sachin Tendulkar… he can pick the slower one so quickly…

 9. Never bowl a full toss to Sachin Tendulkar… the ball finds a way to the stands…

And the most important thing i learnt from this match…aptly the lesson no. 10

 1. Never talk about my dream of clean bowling Sachin Tendulkar in public… he turns the dream into nightmare…

Anyways, who wants to ball to Sachin Tendulkar again in life…

Sure thats true.

Shoaib will never forget this match all his life.

But, Shoaib will be happy as he won’t be facing Sachin again till the next worldcup.

thats assuming that india & pak won’t play any matches.

Hahaahaa Pakistan is already outof the World Cup in the preliminary stages. No worry just 4 years to go

Well, India has now only one REAL opponent & thats Australia.

If india beat them, the world cup 2003 will belong to india

India? Now isn’t that the country that was bowled out in under 50 overs by…Holland (sorry Netherlands).

Yeah and its also the ONLY country in its pool to defeat everyone but one (Australia). In fact only Australia ranks above India in the Super Sixes (and they deserve it).

By the way remember that India won that match against Netherlands. And its winning that counts.

As they say “Jo jeeta wohi sikandar”

Sorry! but the Aussies are gonna cream ya’s
