please do direct me to the software I can use.
I guess Red Hat also have some
cd burn utils installed, look
under applications > Archiving,
If not install them using your
RedHat cd’s , and go to something
called like: install software package
or software manager, these progs.
let you see which you already have
installed, or what’s available to
install, most of the time you’re
installing a “front end” because
the actual “tools” to burn or extract, are standard tools,
which you also can use by command line.
When you are going to download some
prog. from the internet be sure it’s a .RPM the files with this extesion, are easy to install, because everything is done for you, if, you’re
missing certain Lib file’s don’t force
the install first install missing parts, this happens only sometimes,
so don’t worry, Gnome Toaster is the best of the lot, you can use it also on a KDE desktop.
hope this helps,
