I use DVD shrink to backup my DVD movies, etc.
It works up to the point where normally it would invoke Nero.
Then it, or maybe Windows, gives some sort of error message basically indicating it failed to communicate with Nero.
I get the same result on my Vista machine and my XP machine.
It does succesfully compile the shrunk video files, and I can then go into Nero 7 essentials (on my Vista machine) or Nero 6 essentials (on my XP machine) and use Nero to burn a perfectly good viewable DVD.
But it's too bad they won't integrate or communicate.
I do have here an even older copy of Nero (Nero Burning Rom version 5.)
Anyone have any reason to suspect DVD Shrink might communicate better with the older Nero? Or is that Nero too old to even know about burning DVDs?
