Which speed ? BenQ 1655 CD-R scan?

I try to some post CD-R scan but
I don’t know which speed I use ?
BenQ 1655 BCIB with Nero CD/DVD Speed 4.7.7.16

I usually scan CD’s with my DW1655 @ 24x.

It would be great if you could do a comparision between recent Samsung, LG, LiteOn, Optiarc and Pioneer burners on Ritek or CMC CD-Rs :bow:

The best should be Benq / Plextor, after that the next best you can get is an Optiarc/Nec drive, the results from liteon or samsung (both based on mediatek chip) are not reliable.

Check this two burns. the first is verbatim 48x burned at 32x and the second is ritek 48x burned at max sped.

But I got couple problem
#1 different quality each spindle ( Use 75pack I can go up to 10 DVD writer 50pack 6 or 7 dvd writer )
Hard to handle quailty difference
#2 burning software ( I like to burn 70min each disc )
Any Idea ? Thanks

I think 2-3 test CD-Rs should be enough for each burner. 16x, 24x and max speed :iagree:

just create an image which is 70min long and burn it with CD/DVD Speed
