What u recomend!

Can’t figure out what board to go with for this setup! It’s mostly going to be used for gaming. Do I go with the ASUS, which looks like it has better components on it and way more options? Or do I go with the DFI which looks like it has more room and there suppose to be a better overclocking board, but I don’t know if that’s true? There is only a 10$ difference between the two. Also all my components need to fit and on these two boards it will. Thank u for any help -j-

The DFI board has a FAR better layout for gaming in crossfire.

Is the sound card pci x1, or just pci?

Pci ex1

Okay the problem with both boards is your sound card, its pci express, not old fashioned PCI. So both MB’s don’t have a small pci x slot, you would have to use one of the extra x16 slots, and by using a third x16 slot it will kick your second video card into 8x mode. Now there may not be any percievable difference (frame rate wise) but personally I woldn’t be happy with that. Either get another MB with crossfire and a pci x1 slot, or get another sound card that is PCI instead.

Which HIS radeon cards do you have? please provide a link.

If your video cards are single slot:

MSI K9A2 Platinum AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
Quad PCI-e Gen2 x16 CFX, AMD 790FX, overclocker’s choice

edit: wow, I had to remove a bunch of boards because they were SLI or didn’t run at x16/x16. So the above board is the best choice if your video cards are single slot coolers.
