Which media code on 3540A?

I want to buy some dvds for my new NEC 3540A, but I cannot decide what to buy…

I live in Denmark, and have a couple of choices, any shop recomendations are welcome. I usually order from nierle.de.

They have some Hyundai 8x with YUDEN000T02 media code, which I have read should run ok on NEC…
They also have some Philips and Memorex 8x with CMC MAG E01.

Which to choose?? Heeelp :bigsmile:

Hyundai 8x YUDEN000T02 are fake… so don’t buy this discs. =) Try to get Verbatim discs they are MCC and usually burn very good… also some real (made in Japan) YUDEN000T02 would be great like Fuji 8x DVD+R, Verbatim Pastel 8x DVD+R, Plextor 8x DVD+R or just unbranded Taiyo Yuden.

At the moment I’m using Verbatim branded MCC004 and MCC03RG20 with very good results. I can really recommend this stuff.

I buy Verbatim media from Azomedia

Just bought 5 x 25 Verbatim 8x DVD-R. Burns at 12x on 3500A.

Looks real, I don’t think that Taiyo Yuden sells fake TY media. :wink:
