Which DVD RW not senstive to power fluctuations

I’m using a LG GSA 4167B on a Shuttle SN 25P. I’ve been having read speed problems with this drive for a while.

After reading through these forums it seems this drive’s susceptible to power fluctuations.

Planning to buy another writer. Since I’m using a SFF I can’t change PSU so which DVD RW drives are tolerant to unstable power supplies?

Well I’m not an expert on these sort of things but I’m pretty sure that most DVD burners don’t have the same power supply problems as the LG GSA 4167 does.

You might want to try one of the most commonly recommended drives by this forum such as the Pioneer 110/111 or a Benq 1650/1655 (if you can still find them).
