Which Dual Layer Disc Brand Should I Use?

Just wanted your thoughts on which brand to use. I had to find through trial and error that sony was the best for my old dvd+r burner. I could have saved a lot of time (and money) using this site first. Also I never see any ads for the dual layer discs on sale, anyone know where I can get some cheap ones?

I’d use Verbatim if I was gonna burn DLs.

As for sales, where are you located? The Bargain Basement forum is where folk post when they see a good deal.

Edit: I see you already noticed that

Don’t buy cheap disks for DL. As above, use Verbatim.
I’ve tried Ridisc and Datawrite DL’s. They work for me on my Pioneer 109, but not as good as the Verbatim.
By all means try some cheapies, but if you really value your data you’ll have to pay the money.

@c@tbyte - love your nick and avatar

@knightkm - I see you posted basically the same thing in the Bargain Basement, although you phrased it slightly differently…for future reference, crossposting is against the rules.

Verbatim and Verbatim.
