HEY folks I here some of these 8x media don’t wanna burn at 8x on the nec 3500 so before I oder some more media I need to know for sure which disc’s to buy. I don’t wanna spend a lot of money for them and I want good quality burns . I was thinking prodisc 8x dvd+r from www.supermediastore.com oh I’am using herrie’s fw 2.17. Thanks for your reply’s.

My experience with Prodisc 8x +R’s did not go very well - AND burned at only 8x on both 3500’s with Herries 2.17-and gave me VERY poor results
My Taiyo Yuden 8x -R’s burn at 12x
My Ritek 8x -R’s burn at 8x
My Prodisc 8x -R’s burn at 8x (with reliable results)-(and are the exact same price as the +R’s)
IMHO the Taiyo Yudens are the best for this burner - so far

How well does the 3500 do on Ritek DVD+R 8X?

i had some fake TY and they were the best media i have ever had not to mention the only disc to burn at 16x with good results. far better than ritekG05.
Platinum Plus and Philips +R 8x burn well at 12x, both are RicohJPN R02.
