Which burning engine

vbimport

Hi. I just installed Platinum, and chose the VSO engine in the options.
I see that many users like Imgburn.
Is there a reason?
If I use VSO without problems, should it matter?
If I use Imgburn, does it use their drivers behind the scenes, or does it open Imgburn and wait for me to use it?
Thanks.

No, The VSO engine was actually there before Imgburn , it makes no difference if you are just burning movies. If you use the Imgburn option it will automatically open Imburn ( you have install Imgburn of course) and burn with settings you have implemented in Imgburn.

Myself I just use the VSO burning engine and it has always worked great for me although I did try the Imgburn a short time ago and it also burned just fine but I continue to just use the VSO engine (much simpler I think) just pop in movie and blank disk and go

I use ImgBurn and set my burners to the speed for each of my drives and media. Great app.
