Where's the problem?

Hello friends, My copied DVD’s have bad spots. At times, they skip or hang up on a frame while the player tries to decipher it. The last one I tried watching finally hung up to the point of being unwatchable. They were copied using 1 Click DVD, DVD43 and a generic DVD/RW. Only the movie was copied, no extras. What should I do to remedy the problem? Thanks.

Do you mean a generic DVDRW drive, discs, or both?

If so, buy a decent drive, and some good media…If you have a decent drive, then buy some good media. That is most likely where your problem lies. :iagree:

Welcome to the forms
The problem is with the disks you are using to make copies. When it was manufactored the dye that was used was bad or they put it on the wrong way. You have to get better disks like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. You can get Verbatim in local stores like best buy. Taiyo Yuden can be found online.

It’s all about media quality and burning quality of the involved burner(s).

http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm go there and go down to where it says “How to see tell-tale signs of a bad disc” it should explain the problem your haveing.

Generic drive, Verbatim DVD-R discs

I’m using Verbatim DVD-R discs…

Sounds like I have a bad burner…
Thanks for everyone’s help.
