So far I’ve only found Verbatim’s 12X, 650MB, CD-RW media in a Microcenter store. You may also find them in the Office Depot stores.

If you are looking for 700MB CD-RW media, the highest speed available is 10X from Memorex, CompUSA, and GQ.

Also, I don’t think you can find any Ricoh media in the US anymore.

k-hypermedia multispeed are verygood and cheap:)

Have tried HP HighSpeed Media.

I have used HP 1x-4x CD-RW media. They are good.

HP 4x-10x CD-RW must also be good.

My 4x CD-RW media is manufactured by Mitsubishi.

what about now?

any good brand for cd-rw? i would need them to be shipped to spain. thanks

Verbatim is still the most reliable brand to purchase.

what are the more reliable, the 4x, 12x, 24x ? or they are as same reliable?

and i would need to know how to detect fake ones because maybe i will get them from a local store. could you provide me some info about that? maybe where they are “made in”? thanks!

For compatibility reasons I highly recommend getting the 12x rated ones. Not all DVDRW burners can handle the 24-32x Verbatims well.

No need to worry, Verbatim CD-RWs have never been faked as far as I know. 90% of Verbatim CD-RWs these days are being made in Taiwan.

what results do you think will these give?

it’s stated: “Fabricado por el mismo fabricante que utiliza Verbatim” that means “thay are made by verbatim’s manufacturer”

It’s a sentence you can believe or not…

they are too incredibly cheap to reach the verbatim’s quality?

I am 99% sure that they weren’t made by MKM (Verbatim) or MKM’s OEM partners. By the way, the picture on that site shows a Taiyo Yuden’s DVDR medium.
Maybe you should ask them about the ATIP code or country of origin of those media.
