I read the tooltips in nero but im still not sure when to use each. Ive burned about 10-15 cd's so far using TAO that were ISO/BIN/IMG etc and they all came out fine. I never used DAO yet, just wondering if it makes a difference and when to use each for the best results.
DAO stands for Disc At Once as you might now and is needed when writing an audio disc with live mixes for instance (no gaps between the tracks). DAO mode is also needed when overburning (writing more data to the disc than it can normally hold). That’s the main differences. When writing normal data you can use both TAO and DAO. DAO is however a few seconds faster.
