When Quiet and Quick Are What Matter

Greetings! This is my first post.

Unlike many who frequent this forum I am not a demanding burner or ripper. I burn and rip only occasionally, so achieving the nth degree of performance is not something I really need.

What I am looking for is a drive that is both as quiet as possible and quick to load, spin-up and recognize a disc.

I’d appreciate recommendations for a DVD +/- RW drive that is quiet, quick and has respectable performance.

Many thanks for your help.
