What else can you suspect will happen from a smart phone/tablet program owned by Facebook? Has Facebook ever cared about anyone’s privacy? I’m sure that any minute now, Facebook will claim “it’s just meta data.” Does that sound like the NSA to anyone else?

On a more positive note, it’s nice to see a major program adopt Opus. I hope to see Opus become a strong standard in both VOIP applications, and as a general-purpose audio codec. However, I realize the latter won’t happen, as users would have to stop using MP3.
