Time for a quick poll me thinks.
I'll take a good sirlion anytime
A big - thick Costco New York Steak for me-eh-yahoser!!
You need to add to your poll. My favorite is PorterHouse . Followed by T-bone & New York Strip . I like Rump roast.Brisket can be good when properly very slow cooked.
Elk backstrap wrapped with Bacon..
My favourite is fillet steak (not sure what that's called across the pond so didn't answer the poll) followed by a really good sirloin but it has to be really good to hit the spot for me.
 Why only a single choice?
And where is the T-bone steak?
Tenderloin Steak, Filet Mignon, Filet de Boeuf, Fillet Steak, Chateaubriand
Or in other words, none of the above.
Yo My Irish Friend-
All of those are the same (cut). That is just the names they are known by in other parts of the world (even tho we all know that Ireland is the center of the Universe)-eh-yahoser.
we also call it fillet in RSA :iagree:
more choises I prefere lamb loin chops
This poll is making me drool for some reason
I know Mike.
What I meant was that none of those options are listed in the poll.
And we're all a very long way from the centre of the Universe despite what some people would have you believe.
Now all we need is some King Crab or some Lobster.
That's a bit of a fishy request!
What we need now is a 'What's your seafood thread'.
MeTHINKS its TIME to come BACK and do a Quick poll about Lamb ( cuts) looking 4 a Drool smili does an upside down sad count This year would be nice
I got a good deal on some NY strips a couple of months ago put several in the freezer & have been cooking those lately. Taste fine to me. I guess it's my part of the world but I'm not that fond of lamb or mutton . I have had very little but the mutton I had seemed very fat.
