Problem description

PLEASE HELP ME !!!

#2

Your Media may be in the Auto Strategy Data base and that could be the cause of the slow down. Check your A/S data base. Also noticed your buffer underrun is disabled. Not the problem but you should turn it on.

#3

where do i check autostragety?

#4

autostragety is off what now ?? burn??and see or do a test with plextools?

#5

You caught me in the middle of a scan so I have to go from memory. Open Plex tools and in drive settings, go to advanced and you should see A/S data base. Click on the button and it will show you if there is any media in the A/S data base.

#6

a/s data cable whats that???

#7

this is how it looks like

#8

Like you said A/S is off, so it is probably something else like media. You can do a Write transfer rate test by inserting a blank disc and testing, this will give you an idea whether or not the media is going to burn at rated speed. There is also an updated version of Plex tools on their website. Version 2.20

#9

there it is…(i used this media before had 5min burn’s)

#10

nero cd/dvd speed

#11

Your transfer rates are good so it should burn at the same speed. Is your burning software set to burn @ the highest speed. if so, then it beats me why the burns are taking so long. Sorry I couldn’t help you more. If you have limited access to windows maybe someone has messed with your burn speed settings?

#12

Don’t turn off AutoStrategy, it’s great for non recognized media! It seems to me that your burns are being limited to 4X instead of the maximum speed. Let us know which software app you’re using for burning your discs and if your drive’s buffer isn’t draining when burning (you can see this when the drive’s LED goes from orange (writing) to green (idle) during the burn session).

#13

Are the media you are using from the same batch? If not, check the media codes of both media aka the ones you have previously burned at full speed and the ones you are using now - they might have changed manufacturers.

You can use dvd identifier for checking the MIDs

#14

i am using nero to burn the dvd’s version 6.0.0.8…and i am using the same bactch of dvd+r media

#15

media veratim

#16

If you have Intel Application Accelerator, uninstall it.
My 716A used to burn at 2X only, after I uninstalled IAA, all the burns were done OK as expected.

#17

how do i check if i have intel application accelarator?

#18

i didnt fine no Intel Application Accelerator?? on add or remove programs an i also scanned for it an nothing
