Thanks Albert, I saw that and realize that N has LightScribe and H, J and G are non-LS drives. Is there no meaningful significance between H, J and G?
Thanks

Hi,

as with the 20x Sata drives (203B/203N and 203D/203P), there are two generations of 20x Pata drives which slightly differ in hardware and firmware (different media support/write strategies).
202H should support Lightscribe, but this is not even mentioned on Samsungodd specs website.

202G/202N should be the first generation, 202J/202H are the newer drives (verification needed).

My 202J BEBE was manufactured in June 2008. Around that time Samsung released the SB02 firmwre that I’m running now in place of the SB01 that my drive came with.
