In my case :

  1. Drive Type = CD-RW
    Disc Type = CDR (A+)
    Material = Cyanine
    Lead In = 97:24:01
    Lead Out = 74:43:01
    Nominal Capacity = 656.40MB (74m 43s 01f/LBA:336076)
    Manufacturer Maybe = Taiyoyuden,Tuned-X
    Smart-Burn Speed Limit = Wrt(40X),Rd(52X)

  2. Drive Type = CD-RW
    Disc Type = CDR (A+)
    Material = Cyanine
    Lead In = 97:24:01
    Lead Out = 74:43:00
    Nominal Capacity = 656.40MB (74m 43s 00f/LBA:336075)
    Manufacturer Maybe = Taiyoyuden,P Dye
    Smart-Burn Speed Limit = Wrt(16X),Rd(52X)

Which is better?
Or what are the differences in qualities?
What does Tuned-X and P dye mean?

TDK ultra reflex-X have much better quality than the d-views which are second rate.

I have used them both and i wasn’t impressed by d-view’s they don’t work on some CD-ROM drives.

Definitely Reflex Ultra

vs

D-view

P-dye: Old TY certified for 16X or less writespeed.
DX-dye: Newer TY type certified for 24X or better.

Notice that BoSkin is talking about old discs (P-dye is most likely d-view 12X certified, while the other reflex ultra discs is probebly 24X certified). Am I right BoSkin?

NOVA - If you was thinking of the difference between newer discs than this, please tell :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually Boskin hit the spot.
I was asking the differences between the two and it answered up my next question which was supposed to be the differences between the two dyes.
The D-view i’ve seen are 16X certified.

Sure you are. :wink:
The certified speeds are 12x and 24x respectively.

Well, not much difference, although D-View are known to be crap - but they are both TY manufactured?

TY produce crap discs then?

He-he, why do you use the Present Tense ? :bigsmile:

Well, not all d-view is TY.

I had 12X d-view discs which were produced by TDK(old dark blue TDK type) and they sucked - at least in my writers.
